Setting up a development environment for the eeGeo SDK
Developing for iOS with Xcode
Xcode is the default IDE for iOS development, it can be installed on OSX under the App Store -> Xcode
There is no specific configuration required to develop, and the eeGeo 3D Maps SDK for iOS will run happily in the iPhone/iPad emulator
3D Emulation is barely adequate, so for the best development experience we strongly recommend developing on actual hardware. Search Apple’s developer documentation for “Provisioning Your Devices for Development”
Developing for Android with Eclipse
As of mid-2015, official support for Native Android Development via the NDK is poor and in between a migration from Eclipse to Android Studio. We anticipate supporting a new Android Studio / gradle workflow in future releases of our SDK.
We also provide a video tutorial for setting up the Android SDK.
