We are extremely excited to announce the integration of eeGeo 3D maps with indoor positioning of Senion.  You can see it in action below:

If you are interested in integrating indoor positioning into a map, sign up for our developer key.

Senion is an indoor positioning service provider. It has a robust indoor positioning tools that works on all types of smartphones. The software works with Bluetooth beacons to provide accurate indoor positions.

We have integrated the Senion SDK in our eeGeo mapping apps, hence enabling indoor positioning in the eeGeo’s interior maps.

Senion’s StepInside indoor positioning system has been installed in our Westport house office in Dundee, Scotland.

The StepInside SDK makes use of a beacon network and the phone’s inertial motion sensors, thus creating an avatar which has both position and orientation.

We integrated Senion’s StepInside SDK with our own 3D avatar model. If you are interested in making your own, here is how:

We are very excited by this feature as it has the potential to solve the challenges in accurate indoor navigation, a problem set that has significant implications for many industries.  In addition, it also has the ability to allow employers to keep track of their employees within an office space.

All this helps in indoor orientation and enhancing visitor and employees experience.

This indoor tracking system is more accurate than any GPS and can be used across various industries such as retail, hotels, schools, universities and airports etc.

If you’re a Senion customer, we’d love to help you connect your beacons to our world.  If you’re an eeGeo customer, we’d love to help your world connect with their beacons.  Reach out to us at if you’re interested.
